Ladybug came to us when she was sent to the vet by the local kill shelter to be put to sleep. She was very afraid for quite some time but she has become so much more comfortable at the rescue. She walks well on a leash and seems to really like smaller dogs. She is heartworm positive but is a great candidate for treatment, which would be discussed with any interested adopters! Our in-state adoption fee is $75 and includes the animal being spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated, de-wormed and socialized. All dogs are tested for heart worms and if negative are kept on preventive while at the rescue. If positive, the dog will be treated through the rescue.
